BALTIMORE (WJZ) — City police are investigating seven shootings, three of
which were fatal.

According to Baltimore City police, officers responded to Barclay and
Lanvale Streets around 7 p.m. Thursday for a report of a gun discharging.

A call came in for a shooting in the 400 block of Pittman Place and when
officers went there they found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot
wound to the back.

He was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital are 12:26 a.m. Friday.

Police are also investigating the homicides of 28-year-old James Dankins
in the 1100 block of W. Saratoga Street and of 24-year-old Brian Tabb in
the 5900 block of Winthrope Avenue, both of which also occurred Thursday.

Police also responded to four non-fatal shootings Thursday:

At 8:20 p.m. in the 5440 block of Gardenwood Road, officers found a 24-
year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was
taken to the hospital and is in serious condition.

At 10:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of N. Carey Street, officers found a 20-
year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, He’s in critical
condition at the hospital.

At 11:34 p.m. at the intersection of Boarman Avenue and Garrison
Boulevard, city medics treated a 39-year-old woman for gunshot wounds to
the face. She is in critical condition at a local hospital.

At 11:59 p.m. in the 1000 block of Greenmount Avenue, an officer heard
numerous gunshots and found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the
face. He’s in serious, but stable condition at an area hospital.
